Game Night

The Detroit Pistons play tonight against the New Jersey Nets @ 7:30 on FSN Detroit.

I Thought We Were Supposed To Win This One!!!!!

The Detroit Pistons lost against the Washington Wizards last night 104-99.

1.Mr. Bigshot
2.The reason we brought him here(Chris Webber)
3.supposely call himself a 3-pointer shooter(Richard Hamilton)
4.Sheed

Were was all of these players at last night, aren't they mad at the Wizards for beating them on Friday and taking THEIR #1 SPOT in the eastern conference. Billups had 24 points, follow by sheed 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assist, and 2 blocks. The only Pistons player I'm not mad with is Antonio Mcdyess he was knocking all of his shots in, beside the 2 layups and 1 turnover that he gave up and we needed. Other than that mistake I am still proud of him. But this TEAM cannot win just by one person doing all the work, everyone needs to contribute. You would also think that the pistons would have won because of what happen to Antwain Jamison.(injured his knee AGAIN, collied with one of his teammates). Gilbert Areanas had 36 points, 7 rebounds, and 11 assists. We made a lot of mistakes in this game and we just played sloppy all night. Their were lots and lots of turnovers(16) and fouls, I really think we could have won if we had just stop fouling. Q: Why didn't flip Saunders call other players into the game, when he saw that the other players wasn't getting it done? I just hope we win tonight against the New Jersey Nets

POOR BEN

I feel so sorry for Ben Wallace, it seem like ever since he's been in Chicago something bad had happen. 1st, the headband thing. 2nd, not getting enough credit. 3rd, his knee. We don't need to suga coat anything here, we all know ben isn't getting enough credit in chicago. When he was in Detroit all you ever heard about was ben this, ben that. But now that he's in Chicago, it's a different story. But hey, no need for him to complain he is getting $60 MILLION. I'm not trying to pick on ben or anything, because I love him and I just wanted you all to know that.Oh yeah, Doesn't this sounds like the Allen Iverson situation.

Do You Think?

Hey, I just had to talk to you guys about this situation for a minute. Doesn't it seems like the Denver Nuggets has been losing more game with Allen Iverson and the Philadephia 76ers has been winning more since Allen left.

Down 1 and a Half

The Detroit Pistons are down by 1 1/2 in the Eastern Conference. The Wizards defeated the Detroit Pistons on Friday and then turned around and defeated the Celtics yesterday, which made them take the lead in the East, but that's okay we won last night against the Pacers 95-86. Chris Webber had 17 points, 13 rebounds, follow by Richard Hamilton 21 points, Rasheed Wallace 20 points, and Antonio Mcdyess 13 points, he is doing so well. Also, I'm not going to foget TEAMWORK was also a big part of why we won. We made a few mistakes but we WON that's all that matter. If we keep winning games and hopefully, if the Wizards started losing some we will have our spot back, but as we all know rankings isn't everything it's about who takes that tropy home.

Defeated by the Wizards

Yeah, the Detroit Pistons lost tonight against the Washington Wizards 96-99. I really don't know what happen. First, all I knew we were up 6-7 points and we were doing so good. Everybody was playing their hearts out, until the second half of the game. When they got into the second half it just seem like everybody was playing so sloppy. They were losing the ball and not making great passes, and is it just me or do Flip Saunders do not know how to put someone else in when the other players aren't doing so good. But I have to give it up to my boys we did play good tonight. Richard Hamilton scored 27 points, Chauncey Billups: 17 points, Antonio Mcdyess: 15 points, 6 rebounds, Rasheed Wallace: 11 points, and Tayshaun Prince: 8 points. Even though we lost I'm still VERY PROUD of my boys. Hopefully, we can beat the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

Also, my other team(KNICKS) did extremely well tonight against the HEAT, Jamal Crawford scored 52 points.

Thank You For Our Happy Ending

After losing two straight against the bobcats, the Detroit Pistons decided to win their last night against the team, who they played two times before and was defeated by. With great teamwork and help from everyone individually we were able to win with 103-92. Richard Hamilton had 22 points in the game follow by Rasheed Wallace 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals. All of the Detroit's starters had double figures in this game. Also Chris Webber was the player of the game last night. I think Joe Dumars made a great choice of getting him, but since Chris Webber join the team Nazr Mohammed and Flip Murray haven't been playing as much. They both did not play last night. I do think both of them will be traded, by time the deadlines ends. Early Nazr asked to be traded, because he did not want be on the bench, but now he had decided he wants to stay, cuz he thinks the Pistons have a good chance of winning the championship this year. Wheather he stays or not I do not know.

Antonio Mcdyess

My team: Dallas Cowboys

As you guys know my team, the Dallas Cowboys didn't make it all the way. The Dallas Cowboys former coach, Bill Parcielle announced two days ago that he will be retiring. Now I want to know who will be the Dallas Cowboys coach for Next year?

Best Friends

NFL team, the Indianopolis Colts, head coach Tony Dungy and NBA team, Detroit Pistons, head coach Flip Saunders are best friends, every since sharing a dorm room while in college at Minneapolis. Not only are they friends but they are friends with the same goal, their team being #1. Last year, both the Colts and Pistons were the biggest team in their league until it came down to the end. The Colts coach, Tony Dungy had a son who committed suicide during last season which may had something to do with why his team not making it all the way. Pistons coach, Flip Saunders team also didn't make it all the way, as many say, because of egos.(But who really know the truth.) Saunders thinks that having a disappointed ending is a good thing. "Sometimes teams go through adversity and it helps. Look at the Indianopolis Colts. They're prime example. People were writing them off four weeks ago and now they're in the Super Bowl.", says coach Flip Saunders." We've had a lot of bad losses this year already, a lot of bad, bad losses, We can't get 'em back... But I just want to be playing our best ball when we get into April and be healthy." Detroit Pistons point guard, Lindsey Hunter says, " You want to win every game you can, but at the same time you want to build up to the point where you're playing your best basketball come playoff time.(www.nba.com/pistons) This year both Flip Saunders and Tony Dungy want their team to be the last one standing.

They Are Not Going To Be Traded

Not only is Dyess staying in Detroit, but also Jason Maxiell, Will Blalock, and Amir Johnson. Amir just recently came back to Detroit from being in the D-League. Detroit is leaning more on trading their big man Flip Murray, Nazr Mohammed, or Dale Davis.

# 84

The Reason why Chris Webber is wearing the number 84, is not only because he couldn't wear the #4, everyone knows that's JOE DUMARS #. So the day before C. Webb was making is final decision on which number he would prefer, his nephew came up to him and told him to wear the #84 because he had a dream about his UNCLE WINNING in this number, hey maybe a championship. So if you want to be the first Pistons fan on your block with a freshly printed Chris Webber No. 84 jersey (which will hopefully lead us to a championship). Purchase one today Online (www.nba.com/pistons).

He Deserve To Be Right Were He's At

Antonio Mcdyess, one of the known sixth man for his team, had been worried lately about wheather or not he would be traded to another team. After talking it over with Joe Dumars, both decided that they wanted Antonio to stay with the Detroit Pistons.

Here is part of an Article by Keith Langlois
Title: Staying Put
By: Keith Langlois

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. – Antonio McDyess could barely bend over to tie his shoes a week ago, but his back is feeling much better these days. Part of the credit goes to Pistons strength coach Arnie Kander for his deep-muscle massage, but most of it goes to Joe Dumars for his surgical skills. Joe D, it turns out, excised a 1,000-pound gorilla from his sixth man’s back.
But before Dumars put McDyess’ mind at ease, he made him squirm a little.

After practice early last week, he sent trainer Mike Abdenour to summon McDyess – who says he would have seriously considered retirement had the Pistons traded him – to his office.

“When you send somebody to get guys, automatically they think they’ve been traded,” Dumars grinned as he recalled the story. “I don’t care who it is, they think they’re gone. In football, they say, ‘Bring your playbook.’ It’s like that.

“He cracks the door open and says, ‘Yeah?’

“You need to come in here and sit down.”

“Come on, Joe, what?” McDyess said, dropping his head. “What are you about to say?”

“I’m about to say, ‘Sit down.’

“I don’t want to sit down – just tell me.”

“No, you’ve got to sit down first,”

McDyess plops down in the seat across from Dumars’ desk.

“OK, I’ve got a deal for you.”

“Awwwwww …”

“Listen to the deal first, McDyess. I’m going to give you something and then you’ve got to give me something.”

“What?”

“I’m going to give you the reassurance that I’m not going to trade you.”

“OK. What do I need to give you?”

“Some … good … basketball … play. Quit struggling.”

“If you don’t trade me, I’ll quit struggling.”

And with that, they laughed, they hugged, they shook hands.

And the Pistons got back one of the NBA’s all-time good guys and best sixth men.

“So he’s been relieved, as you can see,” Dumars said. “That’s why you call guys in. You can’t let it fester.”

When Dumars became fairly certain that Webber would wind up in Detroit, a week or so before he actually signed, he began exploring trade possibilities. His original thought was to deal McDyess, because “even though he was struggling until (recently), around the league he has tremendous value.”

He quickly found a trade partner who made an attractive offer that would have given the Pistons another scoring option on the perimeter. But then Dumars, as he always does, checked the pulse of his locker room. And when he ran it by his captains – Chauncey Billups, Tayshaun Prince and Rip Hamilton – it didn’t take long for them to convince the Pistons’ president to seek another alternative.
“I talked to Chauncey, Rip and Tay and I say to them, ‘Look, if we get Webber, I’ve got to move a big. I can’t keep all of them.’

“And the first thing Chauncey said was, ‘I know you’re not going to move McDyess, are you?’

“I said, ‘Well, I could.’ And Tay says, ‘Joe, you can’t do that. Chemistry, locker room. I know he’s not playing the way you want him to play right now, but he will. He’s going to get there. We’ve got to have him.’ ”

And so they do – the Antonio McDyess of the last two seasons who almost never failed to move the Pistons to a higher plane when he entered the game. That process might have begun even before the Dumars conversation. It probably started with a Dumars e-mail sent to McDyess after a listless performance in the Pistons’ loss at Altanta on Jan. 12.

“That told me something, that I wasn’t getting it done,” McDyess said. “I pulled films and looked at myself and how I was playing and I really wasn’t getting the job done. That was eye-opening for me, definitely. You don’t realize it until you do look at yourself play. I know I wasn’t playing that way last year. I was a totally different player and realized I had to go out there and play a lot better.”

McDyess admits that even as he began to lose confidence in himself, it meant the world to him that his teammates never did – and it overwhelms him that the captains went to bat to convince Dumars not to trade him.

“They never lost confidence in me,” he said. “I probably did in myself, but they never did. I was surprised. They were still giving me the ball, telling me to shoot. A lot of times I would hesitate, worry about if I would make or miss the shot. Now I just go out there and shoot it and don’t worry about what happens.

“When you’re in a slump, you lose confidence. You don’t think about anything positive. The thing that lifts you up is your teammates, like Chauncey. He kept saying, ‘That ain’t you. It’ll come; it’ll come.’ Then, when I start playing better, you can hear them all cheering for you. I come into the locker room, they’re like, ‘Glad to have you back.’ And I say, ‘I’m glad to be back.’ It means a lot, knowing your teammates still have that confidence in you.”

When McDyess’ agent first broached the possibility of being traded, it sucked the air out of his lungs.

“I love it here,” McDyess said. “I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else. I told my agent, if I had to get traded, I don’t know if I would have made it to that team. I would probably go and retire. That’s how close I feel to this team and how dedicated I feel, because of the last couple of years, so close, going to the Finals and trying to win it. I have so many expectations, knowing we can win. If I had gotten traded, I don’t think I could have dealt with it. I would have had some hard thinking to do.”

Now all he has to do is hold up his end of the best deal Joe Dumars could have made for him. (Keith Langlois).

Two Straight For Detroit

Detroit Pistons win tonight against the Sacramento Kings with 91-74. Tonight not only did the starters played well but also the bench. Bench player Antonio Mcdyess, aslo known as the sixth man, had 12 points. If we continue to play like we are we may see another championship in the future.

Reporter Chris Sheridan vs. Detroit's Rasheed Wallace

On Friday, 20 minutes after the Detroit Pistons practice, player Rasheed Wallace had in altercation between Reporter Chris Sheridan, who said, "Rasheed Wallace hated his coach Flip Saunders," in a column that he wrote. Sheed told Sheridan, " When did you hear the word hate come out of my mouth." Sheridan responded by not saying nothing at all, because he said he wasn't going to talk to Sheed until he calm down and talk like an adult.(Via The Detroit News) No other updates has been announced about this case. CLOSE FRIENDS or should I say EX-CLOSE FRIENDS, Antonio Mcdyess and Kevin Garnett got into a hustle tonight in the 4th Quarter, Both were ejected from the game. Will their be any fines or suspension? If so, How Much? How Long?. Antonio Mcdyess and Kevin Garnett were friends both on the court and off. Beside the fight Detroit Pistons won tonight, FINALLY in a double overtime. Player of the Game: Richard Hamilton. Score:104-98. Here is a clip of Antonio Mcdyess and Kevin Garnett:

Utah vs. Detroit

Utah Jazz @ Detroit Pistons tonight @ 7:30, this will be Chris Webber debut as a Pistons.

Talking Trade

"Someone has to go, says Antonio Mcdyess but is making real sure that it's not him. After having a career high season of 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the Timberwolves game on Monday Night, while playing injured with severe back spasm. But now that Chris Webber is in Detroit, Nazr Mohammed is talking trade. Nazr stated, "I'm not a bench player." Could he be going to Minnesota were there are talks about trading a Detroit's big man for Jaric,Who knows?. Many of the possibilities include Dale Davis, Antonio Mcdyess, or Nazr Mohammed. The real question is do Minnesota want Mohammed or Dice. More than likely one of the two will be traded due to the fact that Antonio Mcdyess and Nazr Mohammed salary is most fitted for Minnesota who will trade Jaric for either of the two. Now me personally I don't like this scenerio, because I think that both Mcdyess and Mohammed are great players for this team(Detroit Pistons), and with the combination of adding Chris Webber to the roster could possibly lead to a championship, which many people wants to see Mcdyess achieve including himself.I guess we have to keep our fingers cross.

Chris Webb Is Coming Home

Chris Webber announced today that he will be playing for the Detroit Pistons. Also their are talks about Marko Jaric (who used to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves) coming to the D. He will either be taking Mcdyess, Mohammed, or Dale Davis spot. I really hope this turned out not to be true. But hey, what can I do if it is. Anyway, as most of you may know the Detroit Pistons lost today against the Timberwolves. Even though we lost I cannot complain, because we played our butts off, and whether who leaves this team I will always love them and they will have a special place in my heart, they played good tonight( we took it to overtime). Again Chauncey did not play in this game but we did get Lindsey Hunter back. I just have to say that Antonio Mcdyess did really good tonight that he was the Mcdonald player of the game, He had 16 points. He also played injured tonight, with a back spasm.

81-73

After losing 6 out of 8 games the Detroit Pistons are slowly trying to become the team they once were. The won tonight against the Boston Celtics, with help from Flip Murray who had 21 points. Chauncey Billups was suppose to play tonight, but I guess he was still in pain, of a strain muscle in his leg that he injured while playing against the New York Knicks. But I do think that he will play Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

NBA Fashions

Have you seen the new NBA shoes, they are on fiyah. If you haven't just go to this link: www.nba.com. The bad news is they are only for mens but that's won't stop me, because I wear mens thing sometimes(I'm a tomboy). Anyway if you want a pair you better go get em'.

My Birthday!!!

I found out yesterday that Micheal Vick(sexxxxxxxxxxyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!) and I have the same birthday, June 26, he is 7 years older than me.

Yes I am a football fan too!!!

Favorite Team: Dallas Cowboys
Favorite Player: Micheal Irvin
2nd Favorite Player: Troy Aikman

I was sad when Dallas Cowboys didn't make it all the way!!!!!!

It Hurts, but I Still Love Them

I had to take a couple of hours to just calm down. If I was to try to write this soon after the game I would had a lot of explicit things up here about the Pistons. Deep down in my heart no matter how mad or upset the Pistons make me I can never hate them, it's like how GOD is to us. Well, the point I'm trying to make is that I know; see that we keep losing game after game and it hurts, but I have to support my Pistons, our Pistons and have their backs, because right now that's what they need. No matter how sorry they play we true fans need to be their for them. I know that we will make it to the playoffs and win the 2007 championship because I feel it in my spirit.

Chris Webber in Detroit!

Even though I told you that Chris Webber said that he will not be coming to Detroit, there are still talks about him wearing the red, white, and blue. No I'm not talking about the America flag. I hope that I'm wrong!!!! It's not that I have anything against C. Webb or anything, but right now it doesn't seem like he fit for this team. I know what you are probably saying, neither does anyone else right now, and that's true. If C. Webb is coming to the motor city he could be taking Antonio Mcdyess or Dale Davis spot. I will be so devastated if he were to take Antonio Spot, because I love him very much (yes I have a huge crush on him). But other than that I really fell that Antonio is right for this team and I just hope and pray that this year he will win the championship, because he is much deserving. Actually, I don't want to see any of my guys leaving the D. In order to save themselves and the rest of the team they have to play a lot better and I mean a lot. But to say it may be too late for that now. The trading deadlines end in february only a month away. I guess we have to wait and see.

Jason vs. Jumana Kidd

Yes it's true! Jason and Jumana Kidd are getting a divorce, according to legal Divorce papers on the internet, after 10 years. Jason wants a divorce from his crazy wife, he says she is jeolous of him and sometimes she would stand in front of his car so he wouldn't go to practice or making him late for practice. To get more information about this there is a website you can go to find the legal divorce papers. I forgot what the website is right now, but if I remember it I will let you know. They fooled me, because I thought they were doing good.

Chris Webber is Not Coming to Detroit

Chris Webber says, "it's far from the truth", that he's coming to Detroit to play with the Pistons.

Detroit vs. Bobcats

Did you watched the Detroit get beaten by the Bobcats. I not really going to comment on all the things we did wrong in this game. But doesn't it seem liked Rasheed is mad at somebody? and Did you see Chauncey Billups crying at the end of the game?, or a least I thought he was crying, It look liked he had tears in his eyes.

They Proved Us Wrong!!!!!!!!!!

Yo we got our butts kicked tonight, what was we thinking. We shouldn't even went to Chicago; it didn't look like we played at all. I'm so mad right now, I don't even really know what to say. We played sloppy throughout the whole game. I know Ben and the rest of the Detroit players are still friends, but once you are on court all that suppose to stop. I kinda think they wanted ben to win tonight. What do you guys think?

Pistons vs. Ben

I know a lot of you out their are so sick about the Pistons and Ben situation, me too. But it is what it is. I think the game the Pistons play today against the Bulls will be the most intense game they play this season, well until we make it to the playoff of course. I hope and pray that we will win. Not only to prove something to ben or anything (because I still love him). But I think we will shut a lot of people up; Maybe, it will be the end of the Pistons and Ben situation.

The Pistons wins Over the Hornets

Detroit wins tonight with a 24 point lead against the NO/Okl Hornets, after a 3 game losing streak against the Knicks-151,145, Pacers-93-92, and Phoenix-108-101
